1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/3 cup dry-roasted almonds
1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
3 cups rolled old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1. Gather your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the canola oil and maple syrup and toss so everything is well coated.
3. Spray a large baking sheet with nonstick canola oil spray. Spread out the mixture evenly. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.
*Kitchen Notes - The granolacan be eaten right away or stored for several weeks in an airtight container or jar. Add dried fruit, chocolate chips, coconut shavings-whatever you like! If you like your granola with large clusters, stir lightly.
